 Mary
Lawrence is the author of five Bianca Goddard Mysteries set in the slums of
Tudor London. Two of her novels--The Alchemist's Daughter and The Alchemist
of Lost Souls were named by Suspense Magazine as best historical mysteries of
2015 and 2019 respectively. Her articles have appeared in several
publications, including the national news blog The Daily Beast. She lives in
